The Song Of Humanity

The anthem of the Universe

In the silence I hear a voice. In the dark of a new moon I see a light. In the still of the night I see motion, rhythm, dance. I am alone and yet I feel the presence of Love – pulsing – a heart beating. Where is it coming from?

An atmosphere of calm and yet excitement surrounds my being – fills my soul. Who is this who walks my way filling my nostrils with fragrance – sweet and pungent? Oh my God! This is who I am – I have come home.

To know who I am is my destiny – my right – my obligation to the One who gives me life. I am no longer locked in the fables of days gone by – of shadowy half-truths and outright lies.

How could I believe I was imperfect – a sinner before I was born. How could I believe the stories that held me captive in smallness rather than realizing the grandness of the God that made me – the One who lives inside me?

I am Human – an adventurer who dared to come into worlds designed to challenge my Divinity. I am an explorer – and true to my spirit I roam the sky-ways and byways in search of Truth.

The Truth is I am young and learning – probing darkened alleyways and the illumined wonders of creation. I am the music of God’s song, the kiss from God’s lips and the Light in God’s eyes.

This is who I am. I am Human – perfect in God.

[When I sat down to write this piece I had something else in mind. However, Great Spirit poured the above poetry onto the page. Enjoy!]
