We The People

Who are we?

Recently, I heard an ad posted on television, by a politician hopeful for our vote. He followed his prepared statement with “We the people.” Then he promise that he was completely against Gay marriage – and followed that promise with these words, “Faith, family and freedom.

Question: Doesn’t ‘we’ mean us – all of us? The originators of the statement “We The People” didn’t put limits on who was qualified nor did it say some people are more qualified than others – or that only straight people or people of certain religions, ethnic or cultural groups are in the “We” club.

We are alive in an era of chaos – all caused by segregated ideas and the loss of the Ideal that Love belongs to everyone – that all people are beautiful – created by the same Creator – to please the One ‘we’ call God! All across the world (in every nation) horror of indescribable dimensions is now credited to religious ideologies – religions that were designed (by God) to ensure Love, Intelligence and Cooperation!

Prejudice of any kind – on any level is the root of all evil. When we drop all ideas that some individuals or groups are more valuable than others we will know God – and Peace will be known.

Harm is harm and it is big wherever it occurs. Someone said to me that the incidents that inspired the riots in Missouri are not as huge as the situation in Iraq . . . but they are!

What is the difference between the civil war in Syria and today’s quest for civil rights in Missouri? At this moment just the magnitude. But know, what is going on in Syria has its roots in the same global garden. Let us remember our American civil war – over issues that have not been solved in the USA – all this longtime forward.

“Faith, family and freedom.” We must have faith in each other because God lives within each of us and let’s remember we are One Human Family. Freedom comes when love, appreciation and expression of these qualities actually live in our hearts and are expressed in our everyday lives.

Freedom? Where is it? What is the way to peace and fulfillment? In my understanding there is only one answer – respect for each other.

It is time to consider the future – and it must be done in this now moment. The solution is so simple! Compassionate people – White, Black, Hispanic, Asian – any and all of us need to come together – stop punishing and begin cooperating.

Let us prepare the children of this world to open the doors – those doors that have been closed by governments, politicians, tribal leaders with agendas toward self-empowerment and those who will follow such destructive programs.

To seek Peace – and find it, we must remember the recorded words of Christ: “Come to me as the little children.”

Let  all those who are willing – Come to the little children! Come to them – teach them the ways of appreciation of others – give them appetites for art, music, dance and meditation. Let them say “yes” to beauty – show them the way – and how to live it! We can only do so by being who we were born to be – the model of peace and generosity.

Next! Put money and every other kind of support needed to elevate children’s imaginations into the starlight that they are born with.

Hey! Let’s put our money where it can count for a beneficial future for all mankind.

Stop all funding for warfare! Turn it around and invest in innocence! For such a reality, there are multitudes of willing investors, teachers, inventors – moms, dads, and more quiet ones than can be counted! Let’s step up to the plate – declare ourselves as investors in the peaceful future for all mankind.

 Let’s do it! Now!
